This device, with its max. drying temperature of 600 °C, is suitable for the determination of moisture / solid matter and of chemically bound water. At this high temperature, incineration is also possible.
The principle is that it dries at up to 600 °C and weighs simultaneously. The moisture tester UX 2011HQ has been developed on the basis of the well known models UX 2011 (the standard model) and UX 2031, which is used worldwide in the gypsum industry to determine chemically bound water. The extraordinary high temperature -other moisture testers reach max. 250° C - makes incineration processes possible. Normally a separate incinerator like the UX 051 is necessary for that. So the UX 2011HQ integrates a moisture tester and an incinerator and it can show the residue of ignition immediately at the end of the drying and incineration process.
a&p instruments offers the UX 2011HQ also with a built-in or separate printer. This prints on normal paper or labels. Other useful accessory items are aluminium foils as one-way drying bowls, which are formed with a special foil press.
A lot of users require a moisture tester with a high drying temperature and therefore this device is used in different fields within the industry.
Its sturdy aluminium housing allows use not only in the laboratory but also direct in production environments. State-of-the-art weighing technology, Made In Germany, guarantees highest quality.
