Chiral Technologies has launched Daicel CHIRALPAK® IC a novel Chiral Stationary Phase (CSP).
Higher screening success rate
Screening is made simpler, faster and more successful by using the three Daicel immobilised columns.
- When combined with CHIRALPAK® IA and CHIRALPAK® IB, the new CHIRALPAK® IC column brings the ultimate chiral screening solution, providing > 99 % success rate in chiral separations
- Screening has been minimised to a limited number of mobile phase combinations selected for optimum method development
- The starting conditions may be used directly in High Throughput Screening (HTS)
- When used in Alkane/Alcohol solvents, the three immobilised columns can separate more than 70% of small molecules. In addition there is the advantage of enhancing sample solubility by dissolution and injection in ANY suitable solvent
- With just three immobilised Daicel columns and four mobile phases, the success rate will approach 99%

Faster preparative separations
CHIRALPAK® IC can dramatically increase the productivity of preparative separations by:
- Increasing the selectivity due to its novel CSP
- Increasing the sample solubility and hence sample load and throughput

The MTBE- and THF-based solvents are particularly useful for low solubility samples.
Robust immobilised columns
CHIRALPAK® IC may be used in all chromatographic modes: normal and reverse phase HPLC, SFC, analytical and preparative. Use of immobilised columns ensures simpler separation development.
Column Sizes
CHIRALPAK® IC 5µm is available in various column dimensions for use in analytical and semi-prep purposes. CHIRALPAK® IC is also available in 20 µm bulk CSP.
