Analysis of environmental samples, isolation of natural products, and purification of synthesised compounds normally requires chromatographic purification. This generates large volume samples which need to be dried or concentrated and then placed into small vials for storage and/or analysis. This method is time consuming and could lead to sample loss and may affect the integrity of the sample.
