Conductivity Meters, pH Meters and Ion Meters with Intelligent Technology: up to three readings in one easy measurement Sartorius PP: Newly Equipped Meters
|
Stabile measuring results, secure data management and timesavings coupled with optimum user convenience – such features not only dictate everyday routine in the professional lab, but are also embodied by the new generation of Sartorius Professional Meters. The laboratory technology supplier Sartorius has re-equipped and optimized the PP meter family. Out of these efforts, four analytical meters were born, each of which offers up to three readings in one easy measurement: pH, temperature and electrical conductivity. Their menu-driven user interfaces, their across-the-board interactive online help functions and optional help prompts let you control the meters with ease and confidence and perform accurate tests every time. A state-of-the-art Motorola Coldfire processor inside powers the extremely high-speed measurements. Faster than ever data transfer enables enhanced run-in behavior monitoring of the sensors.
Analytical Options by Model
All four models measure pH, ORP and temperature. In addition to what the PP-15 basic meter can do, the PP-20 can also measure conductivity, while the PP-25 has an added ion analysis mode. The PP-50 meter is equipped for an exceptionally broad range of applications and has all the measuring features of the other meters.
Key New Features
Instead of a menu guidance encumbered by special characters or abbreviations that often can't be run without referring to the operator's manual, the new meters have fulltext instructions written out on the large, readable and glare-free display. To guarantee fast and error-free work every time, optional help prompts can be rolled down on every menu level.
No matter which temperature sensor you are using, the new meters automatically recognize PT-1000, NTC 10 kO and NTC 30 kO sensors. This prevents any measuring errors caused by improper temperature compensation resulting from the use of the wrong temperature sensors. Moreover, the new PP meters can recognize seven different sets and a total of 33 different buffer solutions. Individual buffer set combinations can also be stored in the meter.
For measuring pH and conductivity, up to five calibration points can be stored and up to seven for ionselective analysis. Such capabilities enable accurate measurements on even the most sophisticated samples of markedly varying conductivities.
The different parameters can be set on the meter to adapt it to special measuring conditions or samples. This targeted setting capability ensures better repeatability for individual measurements. For example, users can set the time delay before storing the calibration data or define the stability criteria for specific measurands. For ion-selective analysis, the PP-25 and PP-50 meters not only support direct measuring methods but also various incremental modes.
Alongside measurements of specific electrical conductivity, specific electrical resistivity, salinity, NaCI content or the amount of total dissolved solids (TDS) can also be displayed on the PP-20 and PP-50 meters.
