Batching and monitoring - automatic with software Sartorius ProBatch+

The Sartorius ProBatch+ software offers a variety of functions for managing raw materials, creating recipes, preparing and starting production runs, generating and saving reports – in short: it ensures efficient monitoring and control of batching processes. With this powerful system, users can perform simple applications using just a single scale and also larger process automation tasks with up to 16 production lines operating in parallel and with up to 16 automatic process vessel or hopper scales. All scales run in parallel and can be operated and monitored simultaneously. Flexible connection of Sartorius ProBatch+ to the X-Family or other process logic controllers, such as Siemens S7, guarantee the highest precision and reliability of processes.

Through consistent use of established standards, ProBatch+ is an open structure, enabling simple data exchange with process visualization as well as other applications to be run. The current process status is continuously displayed for each scale and each production line. This includes gross weights, job orders, current recipes and components with nominal and actual values, and the status of the batch controllers. Alarms and system messages are each highlighted in color and compiled in a list shown in a separate window.
The Windows user interface in ProBatch+ makes it easy for users to create recipes. Batch and special process steps, such as mixing, heating and cooling, etc., are entered in the recipes. In addition, recipe steps can execute powerful script functions for humidity corrections of specified set points, for synchronization of process steps or for the display of interactive prompts.

At the end of every recipe run, ProBatch+ generates batch and production reports. The material management function provides reports on consumption, production quantities and stock levels. All reports can be adapted to customer requirements, since they are generated using the Crystal Report Generator.

ProBatch+ can be universally used and is easy to learn to operate. Nearly all European languages are implemented as standard in the clear and user-friendly ProBatch+ operator interface. Users can conveniently change languages even during operation.
