A new edition of the HAMILTON syringe catalogue has just been published. It can also be viewed entirely at bionity.com. At the beginning of the catalogue you’ll find some questions to help you determine the appropriate syringe or needle for your application. Details about the different types of terminations and needle points are listed on separate pages.

Liquid-tight syringes
The MICROLITER™600, 700, 800 and 900 Series syringes are the gold standard worldwide for accurate dispensing of fluid volumes from 5 to 500 μl. Individually ground steel plungers ensure you a high standard of quality.

Small-volume syringes
The MODIFIED MICROLITER™ 7000 Series syringes deliver volumes from 0.5-5 μl. The syringes design is based on the principle of dead space-free positive displacement. A fine tungsten plunger travels trough the entire syringe to the needle end. The entire volume is dispensed only at the needle.

Gas-tight syringes
The GASTIGHT® 1000, 1700 and 1800 Series syringes are gas and liquid-tight. The syringes are available in delivery volumes of from 10 μl to 100 ml. The plungers are made of stainless free steel or aluminium with a TEFLON ® coating and have a precision machined TEFLON ® seal. The soft material gives you the flexibility to replace the plungers.

SN syringes and needles
HAMILTON lets you select the exact needle or syringe for your needs. You specify the needle diameter and length and type of syringe. HAMILTON delivers you the syringe even as an individual item.

Auto sampler syringes
Under “GC Auto sampler” and “HPLC Auto sampler” you will find syringes sorted by instrument manufacturer. These pages help you select the right syringe for your instrument.

Special syringes
Under “Special syringes” you will find a diverse assortment of syringes for TLC applications. These include “CR syringes” for delivering injections at a constant speed rate, Super syringes for delivering volumes of 0.5 to 2 litres, Salt Line syringes for delivering water-based solutions up to a salt content of 30g/l.

Life science syringes
For the life science field you’ll find syringes with threaded plungers that permit accurate dispensing of the tiniest quantities, including multichannel syringes for the rapid and safe transfer of DNA samples. The different needle diameters allow sample loading in sequencing instruments with plate spacing of 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 mm.

Needles

HAMILTON needles are made of stainless steel. A small assortment of platinum needles is also available. Needles are available in the RN and Luer type (interchangeable) with metal or plastic fittings (suitable for LT and TLL). HAMILTON also offers converted capillary tubes in lengths from 10 to 1200 mm. Valves and connections
With HAMILTON miniature valves you can build a gas and fluid distribution system to meet your specific needs. You can select from a wide range of combination possibilities, from simple in-out to complex distribution valves. Various connectors in the assortment including tubing sets can be easily and quickly attached by hand, without the use of tools.
