Analysis from laboratory to process use from J&M GmbH
|
The TIDAS II fibre optic spectrometer, which is unique worldwide, is also available for the NIR-range now. It can be used from 1200 to 2200nm. The technology used here in combination with a diode array detector allows for the first time the adaption of external fiber optic probes (immersion probes, flow cells and so on) and calibration or validation of the instrument using the build in cuvette holder (cuvette changer as an option). The instrument is controlled by a PCI-interface, ethernet or WLAN. This makes the TIDAS II ideal for the use in process analysis and lab applications.
No limitations
The use of optimized light fiber technology in combination with diode array detection allows very short analysis times (msec range) and precise results. The flexibility of the TIDAS II offers the possibility to analyse a wide range of very different samples, solid or liquid. Measurements can be done in transmission as well as in reflectance, a special measuring head was implemented inside the instrument for reflectance analysis. The TIDAS II was developed for the use of different sample changers, for cuvettes (liquid samples) as well as for petri dishes (solids) of different sizes. Furthermore, the TIDAS II can be combined with different fiber optic coupled flow cells or immersion probes. You can use probes for transmission as well as for reflectance (ATR) analysis.
Applications
The flexibility of the TIDAS II offers a lot of analysis possibilities:
In the pharmaceutical industry:
- Content Uniformity
- Analysis of active ingredients
- QC of raw material
|
In food an beverage industry:
- Humidity of grain
- Amount of proteins
|
In the chemical industry:
- Water content of solvents
- QC of raw material
|
And much more
