IRIS Biotech Catalogue: Starting Materials for Peptide Synthesis and Drug Discovery
Chiral Building Blocks, Solid Phase Synthesis, PEGylation, Reagents for Life Science Research, Carbohydrates, Contract Manufacturing from Grams to Multi-ton Lots

IRIS Biotech is specialized in reagents for Peptide Synthesis and products for Life Science Research. The Portfolio of IRIS Biotech today is:

  • Starting Raw Materials for Peptide Synthesis (Protected Amino Acids, Coupling Reagents, Linkers and Resins for Solid Phase Peptide and Organic Synthesis)
  • PEGylation (monodisperse and polydisperse; short (MW 300) to very long (MW 20.000) Glycol Spacers, hydrophobic and ambiphilic Spacer Molecules
  • Contract Manufacturing of PEG Spacers and PEGylation
  • Carbohydrates and Sugar Derivatives (Derivatives of Allose, Arabinose, Fucose, Galactose, Glucose, Mannose, Xylose etc.)
  • Reagents for Life Science Research (Spermines, Aflatoxins, Cyclosporins, Cytochalasins, Geldanamycine, Methoxatin, Rapamycin, Staurosporine etc.)

A major part of our activities is Contract Manufacturing in different chemistry areas, in particular unusual derivatives with one or several chiral centres. We produce in our ISO9000 certified factories according to cGMP standards and supply universities and research organisations with lab quantities as well as productions with commercial quantities up to multi-ton lots.

IRIS Biotech was established in 2001 as an offspring of the world wide operating enterprise CFM Oskar Tropitzsch, whose roots go back to the 18th century. On 24th July 1788 it was founded as first chemical factory in Germany, at all.
