FiberTech makes use of a competence, which has continually grown and been taken care of for over 22 years now.
Our customers share our success: FiberTech products are the result of more than two decades of experience in production, development and perpetually new product design.
We exclusively produce multi-mode fibers (step index and graded index) with a core diameter from 10µm to 2000µm. Various numeric apertures, coatings and jackets are matter of fact. High-efficient fiber bundles, fiber tapers and sidelight fibers do of course belong to our range of products.

We manufacture your products individually in series or custom-built, just-in-time and quality secured. We develop the design required according to your individual demands, custom-made by FiberTech!

Industrial Applications

Our products are applied in the material processing industry (e.g. automotive), in defence and aviation technology, bio-technology and in space as developments of our own or for customers. Spectroscope application in chemical analyses with high demand IR-range has proven as one unique field. FiberTech is regarded leading in special fibers used in the spheres of high temperature, vacuum and nuclear technology. We are partner for fiber optical components, building kits and any systems linked with fiber-optic cables.

Medical Applications

For six years FiberTech has been renowned for bare-fibers for ND-YAG lasers, excimer lasers, holmium-YAG lasers and diode lasers. FiberTech mass-produces surgical, endovascular and especially produced probes in its own clean rooms using bio-compatible materials. Depending on the type of fiber sterilisation can be applied by ETO-gas, gamma radiation or autoclave with the products being packed sterile.

NEWS: Astrophysical application

Optical fibers for dark energy:
Using optical fiber bundles, a very large telescope and up to 150 spectrographs, astronomers (in Texas, Munich and Potsdam) plan an experiment (HETDEX) to understand the nature of dark energy. Dark energy, originally invented by Einstein, is a mysterious property that makes up most of the Universe and in contrast to gravity expands it at an accelerating rate.
