19 Mar 2008 - MedMira Inc. announced that it has filed a patent application with the United States Patent Office for its new rapid test platform. MedMira's research & development team has been working on a next generation, rapid test based on the company's patented flow-through diagnostic technology. This next generation rapid test is built on the key quality and performance attributes that have enabled MedMira's rapid HIV and HIV/Hepatitis combination tests to obtain regulatory approvals from the most stringent regulatory authorities in the world, including United States, Canada, China, India, Russia, and Europe.
