Patheon Announces Japanese Subsidiary Patheon, K.K.

06 Jun 2008 - Patheon Inc. announced the establishment of a Japanese subsidiary based in Tokyo, Japan. Patheon K.K. will operate from a newly established business office located in the Nihonbashi district of central Tokyo and will support Patheon's business requirements in the region.
 
"This provides Patheon with a permanent presence in Japan to target new customers and support existing ones in Japan and other Asian markets. It demonstrates our commitment to build on our existing customer base in this very important region," said Wes Wheeler President and Chief Executive Officer, Patheon Inc. "Patheon's growing number of development projects in Asia, particularly Japan, has highlighted the need to establish a physical presence in this key market to more efficiently support and service our valued customers in the region."
 
Local staff will be added to the Tokyo office to fulfill the Company's growing Asian business development and service support requirements.
