GATC Biotech opens office in Sweden

08 Apr 2008 - GATC Biotech of Germany is to open a new office in Stockholm as part of its Scandinavian expansion drive. The new Stockholm headquarters will provide expanded sales and support services across the Scandinavian region, where the company's customer base is rapidly expanding, according to the company.
 
Katarina Nyström, sales manager at the Stockholm office, said the company wanted to be close to Scandinavian customers and provide a personalised and efficient service. "The decision to open a subsidiary in Stockholm will enable GATC Biotech to be closer to our rapidly developing Scandinavian client base."
 
Peter Pohl, CEO of GATC Biotech, added: "I'm delighted to announce the opening of the Stockholm office. The addition of this new subsidiary and increase in services and production capacity will serve to strengthen our position as the leading sequencing service provider in Europe."
