Dako's new Board and Management in place

31 Aug 2007 - Dako's new board is now in place and a new Corporate Vice President, Operations, has been appointed as member of the Corporate Management. Two new board members entered Dako's Board of Directors as of 28 August:
 
- Staffan Ek, former Head of Roches' Diabetes Care business area and former member of the executive committee of Roche Diagnostics GmbH. Currently a member of the board of Axis-Schield plc and Facet Technologies LLC.
 
- Charles M. Fleischmann, former president of Digene Corporation (now Qiagen) and member of the board of The Institute for Health Technology Studies (InHealth).
 
The new board begins work in a recently restructured Dako, which is now ready with a new business model and production strategy.
 
Corporate management has been strengthened with the appointment of Jorge A. Cerda, who starts as new Corporate Vice President, Operations, as of 1 November. Jorge A. Cerda comes from a position as President of GE Healthcare AB. Jorge Cerda has more than 20 years experience within biotech production based on clear customer focus, optimizing production methods and efficient production planning.
 
Members of Dako's new board are: Mats Fischier (Chairman), Ole Andersen (Senior Partner, EQT Partner A/S) , Morten Hummelmose (Director, EQT Partners A/S), Søren Mellstig (former President of Gambro AB), Staffan Ek (former Head of Business Area Diabetes Care within Roche Diagnostics Division), and Charles M. Fleischmann (former President of Digene Corporation (now Qiagen)).
 
Members of Dako's future corporate management are: Patrik Dahlén (CEO, President), Leif Nørgaard (CFO, Executive Vice President, Finance); Sarah Taylor (Corporate Vice President, People & Organization), Per Sjøberg (Corporate Vice President, Sales), Mats Grahn (Corporate Vice President, Marketing), Rolf Ehrnstrøm (Corporate Vice President, Research & Development), Jorge A. Cerda Lucero (new Corporate Vice President, Production, as of 1. November 2007).
