Syngenta Japan K.K. Appoints Andrew Guthrie as President20 Nov 2006 -
Syngenta Japan K.K. announced that Andrew Guthrie has been appointed as the Syngenta Japan K.K. President, effective 1 December 2006.
Since January 2005, Guthrie has been the Country Head for Syngenta Crop Protection Ltd. in Thailand. Earlier assignments include Regional Asia Pacific Head for Marketing and Development in Hong Kong and Singapore and Global Marketing roles in the UK and Switzerland after spending ten years in Australia with ICI Crop Care. Current President, Michael Kester will return to Europe after several international assignments to lead Syngenta's Vegetable business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
