Oxford Gene Technology grants microarray licence to the Norwegian Microarray Consortium

05 Sep 2005 - Oxford Gene Technology (OGT) granted a microarray licence to the Norwegian Microarray Consortium (NMC). The NMC provides spotted DNA microarray technology and related services to the scientific community in Norway. This licence allows the NMC to extend its microarray sales into European territories covered by the OGT Southern array patents.

Professor Ola Myklebost, Head of the NMC and the FUGE National Microarray Platform, said: "The agreement with OGT means that the National Microarray Platform can now offer all of its array products, including those for academic use, to customers in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland, Luxembourg and The Netherlands".
