Viscotek extends protein characterisation technology portfolio

19 Jan 2005 - Viscotek Corporation announced the acquisition of a worldwide exclusive licence to single mode fibre (SMF) technology for Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS).
 
Viscotek will be integrating the new technology into their portfolio by setting up a new UK manufacturing facility staffed by ex-employees from Protein Solutions including Tim Smithson, Production Manager and Ken Cunningham, Product Design Engineer.
 
Viscotek will also be offering support and repair services to the existing customers who have old Protein Solutions instruments. Exclusive access to the patented SMF technology means Viscotek is the only company who will be able to supply all the parts to repair these instruments.
