ProImmune Ltd. to distribute Custom Peptide Libraries in alliance with Sigma-Genosys

12 Nov 2004 - ProImmune Ltd. has signed an agreement with Sigma-Genosys to distribute custom peptide libraries. This agreement will allow ProImmune to offer Sigma-Genosys' proprietary PEPscreenŽ high throughput peptide synthesis platform to its customers world-wide. The alliance brings together ProImmune's technical expertise and extensive customer base in immunology research, with Sigma-Genosys' state-of-the-art capability in custom peptide synthesis.
 
Custom peptide libraries enable rapid screening of many peptides (from tens to thousands) for bioreactivity in a variety of assays, such as identifying disease targets that are involved in immune responses. PEPscreenŽ technology makes the synthesis of custom peptide libraries possible at an affordable price. This significantly broadens the relevance of using such libraries in many applications where the cost of conventional peptide synthesis methods would otherwise be prohibitive.
 
The agreement will allow ProImmune to offer integrated solutions to its customers that combine PEPscreenŽ technology in antigen discovery and screening applications with ProImmune's core Pro5TM MHC Pentamer technology for epitope validation and precise immune monitoring. All these solutions will be seamlessly supported by ProImmune's expert technical and applications support team.
