to-BBB and Lundbeck to join forces on brain delivery of antibodies for CNS diseases

05 Jan 2010 - to-BBB and H. Lundbeck A/S are entering into a research collaboration to evaluate delivery of antibodies to the brain for Central Nervous System (CNS) diseases. This research could provide the backbone of new emerging therapies for unserved brain diseases.

"to-BBB’s brain delivery technology combined with Lundbeck’s strong knowledge in the area of CNS disorders, should result in further progress to improve the lives of patients with devastating brain diseases.” Lundbeck is an international pharmaceutical company engaged in research to find new drugs for treatment of CNS disorders, including depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. The collaboration with to-BBB could provide Lundbeck with an opportunity to improve the brain delivery of therapeutic antibodies addressing CNS diseases.
