Introduction

Hydrogen bonding interaction in proteins plays a crucial role in protein folding, dynamics and function. The locally ordered structure, the so-called secondary structure of a protein is created by hydrogen bonding within the protein backbone. These hydrogen bonds have structural role in the proteins and called secondary hydrogen bonds [1].
