Oxyglobin

Similar to Hemopure, Oxyglobin is also developed by Biopure and is an oxygen-therapeutic based on chemically stabilized bovine hemoglobin. However, unlike Hemopure, which is for human use, Oxyglobin is intended for the veterinary market, and is used to treat anemia in dogs. According to Biopure's corporate website, approximately 173,000 units of Oxyglobin have been sold to date, treating nearly 90,000 animals.
