Janus green
Janus green is a basic dye used in histology and to stain mitochondria supravitally. (C30H31N6Cl; diethylsafraninazodimethylaniline chloride)
The indicator Janus Green B changes colour according to the amount of oxygen present.
Oxygen present - Indicator oxidised to blue colour
Oxygen absent - Indicator reduced to pink colour
