British Pharmacological Society

The British Pharmacological Society (BPS) is the professional association for pharmacologists in the UK.

The society was formed when some pharmacologists met in Oxford, UK in 1931. The learned society aims to further education within Pharmacology and also organises meetings of the countries most prominent pharmacologists. [1]

Publications

The British Pharmacological Society publishes a number of works, which promotes pharmacology;

  • British Journal of Pharmacology - Published by the Nature Publishing Group.[2]
  • pA2 is the e-journal of the British Pharmacological Society[3]
  • The British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology published by Blackwell Publishing.[4]
