Biastophilia
Biastophilia (from Greek biastes, "rape" + -philia) is a paraphilia in which sexual arousal is dependent on, or is responsive to, the act of assaulting (possibly sexually) an unconsenting person, especially a stranger.[1][2] Biastophilia is a common trait in serial killers.[citation needed] It is sometimes confused with raptophilia, that is, the paraphilia in which sexual arousal is responsive to raping a victim.[3]
