Building Value Into 7TM Receptor Genes
At 7TM Pharma we leverage our core competencies within structure-based drug discovery and development to create a versatile, rich and sustainable pipeline of novel drugs for 7TM receptor (GPCR) targets for large therapeutic markets.
The core therapeutic focus of our company is metabolic disorders, including obesity, an area of obvious unmet medical need and increasing prevalence globally. Our lead compound, Obinepitide, targeting the treatment of obesity, is in Phase II clinical studies and another obesity compound entered Phase I/II studies in March this year.
Furthermore, we engage in discovery work on other 7TM receptor targets, based on synergies with ongoing projects, therapeutic potential in other disease areas, target validation combined with the ability to apply chemistry, and high interest of potential collaboration partners. This effort includes programs in asthma /allergy.
