On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, we welcome you to Geneva to attend the 20th International Symposium on Chirality ISCD-20, which will be held from July 6 to July 9, 2008, in the beautiful and modern UNI MAIL facilities of the University of Geneva.
The Symposium Series provides an international forum for discussing and exchanging ideas and recent progresses on all aspects related to chirality in life sciences, chemistry, separation sciences, material sciences and physics. It belongs to a long and successful series which started in Paris in 1988 and is organized alternatively in Europe, North America, and Asia. We are extremely pleased to host this Symposium for the first time in Switzerland in the attractive surroundings of the city of Geneva.
At the occasion of the Symposium, the Chirality Medal will be awarded to a scientist whose contribution in the field of Chirality is particulary remarkable.
Alongside the purely scientific conferences and specialized courses, an exhibition focusing on novel chiral technologies will be also organized, giving participants the opportunity to learn more about the latest technical developments in this particular field of science.
