In vitro siRNA
The pre-designed IBONI^® siRNA with the proprietary 'riboxx sequence motif' has been created for in vitro applications. The 'riboxx sequence motif' enhances loading of the antisense strand to the RISC complex, with subsequent increase in efficiency and duration of gene silencing. As a result, much less siRNA are needed for an effective knock down with a substantial reduction of off-target effects.

In vivo siRNA
The IVORI^® siRNA is highly stable in serum and body fluids, more potent and less toxic than commonly used siRNAs. A great variety of additional chemical modifications enables a customization to particular experimental needs. The IVORI^® siRNA is free from detectable endotoxins and displays low salt concentrations. These properties make it ideal for gene silencing experiments in vivo (animal models) and preclinical studies.

siRNA controls
IBONI^® Control siRNAs are pre-designed siRNAs, dedicated to be used as positive or negative controls in order to optimize transfection and knock-down efficiency of RNAi experiments. The sequences originate either from published experimental data or have been successfully tested by independent scientists.

Delivery solutions
Chemical modifications. Riboxx provides scientists with the full range of siRNA delivery solutions, ranging from cholesterol groups, aptamers, hydrophobic anchor groups to cell-penetrating peptides. Efficiency of siRNA delivery to the cell is controlled by a chromophore coupled to the sense (passenger) strand, rendering live in vivo imaging possible.

Transfection reagent. riboxx^® FECT is a powerful transfection reagent for transfection of small interfering RNA (siRNA), microRNA (miRNA) and RNA in adherent cells or cells in suspension in vitro. riboxx^® FECT displays perfect compatibility with Riboxx products.

miRNA
Riboxx offers pre-designed or custom miRNA inhibitors (CONTRAmir^®) and miRNA mimics (CONmir^® and pre-CONmir^®) with end and backbone modifications.

RNA
At Riboxx, we aim at pushing the RNA synthesis to its limits, i.e. the length of RNA, the amount of RNA and the chemistry. Riboxx has a strong expertise in the field of synthesis of RNA longmers (length > 50 nt). Another field of expertise relates to the amount of RNA (> 1gr scale). A great variety of additional chemical modifications enables customization of RNAs to special experimental needs.

Nucleotides
Riboxx offers high quality natural and modified rNTPs, NTPs and NTP-bundles. All nucleotides are supplied as clear aqueous solution (pH 7.5) and are of high purity (non-modified: >95%; modified: >99%). Contaminations with human or bacterial DNA, as well as the activity of DNase, protease or phosphatase are not detectable.
