The Ultra-Deep Microbiome NGS Kit is the ultimate solution combining protocols for extraction of enriched microbial DNA and amplification of bacterial and fungal sequences including positive controls, calibrators and DNA-free plastics. The Ultra-Deep Microbiome NGS Kit allows for significantly deeper sequencing compared to conventional DNA isolation and amplification and comprises the following steps:

• Microbiome Enrichment: The Ultra-Deep Microbiome NGS kit contains all reagents and plastics required for enrichment of microbial DNA and removal of human and “dead” microbial DNA.
• Contamination-free microbial DNA isolation: The Ultra-Deep Microbiome NGS kit contains all reagents, buffers and spin columns required for sensitive and contamination-free microbial DNA isolation.
• QC of microbiome DNA: Ultra-pure 16S/18S mastermixes enable the quality control of isolated microbiome DNA prior to NGS-based sequencing. Furthermore, supplied mastermix and sequencing primers allow 16S/18S-based re-sequencing approaches.
• Custom assay development: An ultra-pure mastermix without primers and supplied validated DNA-free water for preparation of custom primer solutions allow assay development.
• Controls: For calibration and validation of sequencing depth internal and positive controls are provided facilitating quantitative NGS approaches.
