DNA contaminations in PCR reagents often lead to a sensitivity decrease or even false-positive results.
Molzym's 16S PCR reagents are free of contaminating DNA, thus enabling a sensitive and reliable PCR. In addition, Molzym's Taq polymerase MolTaq16S is highly active, allowing ultra-sensitive PCR runs up to cycle 40.
Beside the Taq polymerse, also dNTPs, BSA, and primers are often an underestimated source of DNA contaminations. Thus Molzym offers various ready-to-use mastermixes (mastermix 16S). As an extra service, such mastermixes can also be mixed and purified according to the customer needs.
Combining the ultrapure Taq polymerase or mastermix with Molzym's highly sensitive DNA-isolation technology MolYsis, allows an up to 40.000-fold PCR sensitivity increase.
