Strategic Alliance enabling the generation of genetically modified research models to assist the drug discovery process

North American Collaboration between Charles River Laboratories and genOway

18-05-2006: Charles River Laboratories, Inc. and genOway announced the establishment of a three-year North American collaboration. This strategic alliance will provide pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic researchers with innovative research models to better understand human diseases. genOway holds intellectual property rights to multiple processes for the development of research models and offers a full range of solutions for both gene expression and gene inactivation.

"Charles River Laboratories is delighted to expand our relationship with genOway by adding to our successful European collaboration with this North American agreement." said William Barbo, Corporate Vice President, Research Model Services, Charles River Laboratories. "With this collaboration, we can promote genOway's solutions and further assist our clients in the most efficient pursuit of their research goals."
