Major Expansion for Brecon Pharmaceuticals
Brecon Pharmaceuticals Expands Capacity with Significant Investment in New Storage and Distribution Facility
02-08-2012: Brecon Pharmaceuticals announces the expansion of its storage and distribution capacity, with investment in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility in South Wales, UK. Responding to customer demand the new site will provide a further 23,000 square feet of temperature-controlled storage facilities and eight dispatch lanes.
The investment in the new site is part of the company’s growth strategy and demonstrates its commitment to growing and innovating to meet the changing needs of the pharmaceutical and bio-technology sectors. Enabling even faster turnaround times and access to a broader range of services, the facility at Treforest is strategically located to facilitate access to all major UK airports and road networks - guaranteeing 24-hour national and efficient worldwide distribution.
“Brecon is focused on the rapidly-changing needs of the industries in which we operate and is expanding capacity and innovating services to meet our clients’ needs,” said Peter Belden, Managing Director. “This latest temperature-controlled addition has been designed to meet the highest standards in clinical trial and commercial product handling including the ability to manage ambient, cold and frozen conditions.”
