Argenta Announces Integrated Drug Discovery Collaboration with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd
12-01-2011: Argenta announced that it has entered into a drug discovery collaboration with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. in the area of pain and inflammation.
Argenta will apply its integrated drug discovery platform and expertise for hit-to-lead and lead optimization on multiple Dr. Reddy's discovery targets in pain and inflammation. The aim of the collaboration is to deliver high quality development candidates to support Dr. Reddy's research efforts for proprietary products.
Dr. John Montana, Managing Director of Argenta, commented: "We are excited to be working with Dr. Reddy's in identifying novel and differentiated drug candidates for multiple targets meeting unmet clinical needs in pain and inflammation".
