25-06-2009: American Peptide Company announced the appointment of Firuz Shakoori as Sales Director, who has been responsible for new business development since January 2009.
Mr.Shakoori will work closely with customers as their drug products move from discovery to development and commercialization. In this role, he will be responsible for executing the company’s Total Peptide Management program.
Mr.Shakoori has 25 years of experience in the peptide industry, holding various positions including GMP production chemist, vice-president of GMP manufacturing, and director of sales. Prior to joining American Peptide Company, Shakoori worked in Bachem and PolyPeptide Laboratories.
Shakoori holds a Master of Science in Chemistry degree from California State University, Fullerton.
