HAMS Harm Reduction Network

The HAMS Harm Reduction Network is a free of charge support group for people seeking a better relationship with alcohol or drugs. HAMS is an acronym for Harm Reduction, Abstinence, and Moderation. HAMS is supportive of "any positive change": this includes safer use, reduced use or abstention from use. The choice of which path is best is to be determined by the individual.

HAMS is an eclectic program incorporating ideas from Moderation Management, SMART Recovery, the harm reduction movement and many other sources.
