The past four centuries have witnessed the emergence of a globally successful pharmaceutical company from a small pharmacy facing the "Stadtplatz", the central town square of Wels.

Established around 1600 and still rooted in the same spot, the pharmacy has been owned by the Fritsch / Richter Family for nearly 100 years. Wels serves both as the corporate headquarters site and its departure point for the entire Austrian market. In addition, a branch in Vienna guarantees prompt and reliable service for eastern Austria.

Yet international business is also a major priority for Richter Pharma. We consequently export our own products and those of distribution partners to over forty countries, supported by subsidiaries in Australia, Bulgaria and Romania.
