Think Beyond. Choose Passion!

GKM (Gesellschaft für Therapieforschung mbH) is an independent, family-owned contract research organization (CRO). GKM provides a comprehensive portfolio of CRO services for the pharmaceutical industry, manufacturers of medical devices and academia.

Founded in 1981, GKM is headquartered in Munich, Germany. GKM has completed over 600 clinical research projects, involving approximately 1.4 million patients across various indications. We are experts in planning and managing national and international clinical trials as well as non-interventional studies.

GKM employs a team of 68 in-house professionals, and we work with more than 90 freelance clinical research associates (CRAs) throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For monitoring in all remaining European countries, GKM has established successful co-operations with partner CROs. The GKM team is highly experienced and knowledgeable in scientific, organisational and administrative matters of clinical research. GKM deploys state-of-the-art technology and complies with the very latest standards. Your clinical research project is in safe hands with us.

As a mid-sized CRO, we are able to respond rapidly, efficiently and flexibly to your unique needs, corporate policies and processes at every stage of your project. And we can tailor one-stop CRO solutions or deliver selected services, depending on your requirements. These days you may take it for granted that a CRO will offer competence, experience, flexibility and creativity together with a wide range of products and services. However, know-how, hard skills as well as state-of-the-art technology are not, by themselves, the only pivotal factors affecting the quality of service. More than 30 years in the CRO business have taught us, that the working environment and continuous training are no less important for providing the best CRO service possible.

GKM’s success is founded on a committed, highly skilled team, which thanks to GKM’s extensive training and educational program always keeps in touch with all relevant developments in the field of clinical research and beyond. GKM’s pleasant working atmosphere, built on mutual respect, fosters creativity and productivity, and GKM staff members are always encouraged to integrate their individual skills and ideas to make us better. At GKM we nurture a corporate culture that focuses not merely on professional qualifications but also on personal qualities and soft skills such as diligence, dependability and fairness.

As a result, our clients appreciate GKM’s customer-centered approach and are reassured by the efforts we make to see that their interests are protected and upheld at all times – a solid basis for mutual trust and long-term partnerships.GKM aims to offer you a high level of convenience, continuity and stability – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

GKM’s more than 30 years of clinical research on behalf of prestigious sponsors has resulted in a track record of more than 600 successful national and international projects involving more than 1 million patients. The high quality of our CRO services has been endorsed by the positive outcome of numerous audits having been carried out at GKM by our sponsors and independent auditors.

GKM sets high standards regarding the continuous updating of our scientific knowledge and technical skills. In order to meet these requirements, we assign major importance to GKM’s intensive training and educational programs and invest heavily in our technical systems, safety and security.

The CRO services we offer for national and international clinical trials or non-interventional studies are geared towards your specific needs. Quality, flexibility and sustainability are our main imperatives. We can either adopt your standard operating procedures or can offer you our own.
